Jackbe Assists Ademsa In Becoming "The Only Warehouse" Solution in Mexico
In response to changing requests within their business community, Ademsa realized the need to streamline their business operations to promote future growth. Ademsa was following an operational model that did not highlight their business expansion efforts or meet the growing demands within the company. The poor usability and performance efforts of their legacy HTML application made for minimal progress and decentralized information. JackBe was implemented to correct slow processes, poor customer service and varying data errors, producing a highly functioning interactive application that supported faster business growth.
Company Profile
Founded in 1988 and located in Mexico City, Mexico, Almacenadora de Deposito Moderno (Ademsa) is a leading logistics company that operates a general warehouse offering financial and logistical services to retail clients. Ademsa offers integrated solutions including storage, logistics and general goods handling with qualified personnel, enabling its retail clients to leverage Ademsa's facilities or services for coordination with external suppliers. Specifically, Ademsa handles nationwide distribution and certification of commercial information to ensure that its clients are compliant with Mexican laws.
The Challenge
Enabling future growth and simplifying processes were two key drivers for implementing a next-generation technology solution. Ademsa's consumer communication relied heavily on the use of the telephone and fax machines, since only two of their branches had local client-server applications. This manual processing resulted in decentralization, and made it impossible to accurately track information flow and meet key business benchmarks. Ademsa had grown from two to nine branches and was operating thirty "enabled warehouses". The company realized that efficiency was required enable further profitable growth. At the same time, Ademsa's clients began demanding real time access to merchandise information. Admesa needed a next-generation online application that provided its clients with greater insight into the status of their merchandise. Their previous Web applications failed because the large volumes of data and poor infrastructure led to slow performance and an overall sluggishness. In addition, these applications were limited in interactivity and usability, resulting in poor results for Ademsa's clients.
The JackBe Solution
JackBe delivered great value to both Ademsa and its customers. The use of dynamic Web based applications enabled Ademsa and its customers to eliminate heavy reliance on phone and fax communications that slowed information request processes and often incurred errors. The online customer application provided real-time access to information such as inventory, tax payments, legal documents, distribution tracking and administrative activities in order to enable faster more improved decision making for Ademsa's clients. The Web based solution encouraged self-service, improved time to market and drove significant efficiencies across the operations.
JackBe's next-generation platform helped Admesa create an application that is easy to use for employees and customers alike, requiring no training due to its intuitive user interface. JackBe technology provides access through a standard Web browser and requires no plug ins or other client-side software, virtually eliminating installation and customer support costs. The JackBe solution provides business benefits in a secure, interactive, user driven environment.
