NQ Ajax Framework

JackBe API

NQ Ajax Framework also provides a JackBe API in the form of programming script code to enable the GUI with complex behavior that can be triggered by user interactions with the Ajax applications. The JackBe API facilitates programming tasks such as displaying modal windows, getting references to any object in a given form, processing validation tasks, loading Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) or JavaScript files, and other functions. The API is designed to reduce the overall file load by using our optimization techniques. While it is always possible to use standard script functions as part of the scripting codes of a form, the JackBe API includes pre-defined functions that reduce the programming burden and enable complex interactive behavior. The JackBe API is designed to increase developer productivity.

The advantages of using JackBe's Ajax API include:

  • Common, Cross-Browser Programming Interface
  • Simplification of Programming
  • Access to Advanced Features and Functions
  • Dynamic Creation and Manipulation of GUI Components

The JackBe API is commonly used to perform the following types of tasks.

  • Widget Instantiation
  • Widget Data Population
  • Widget Property Manipulation
  • Server Communications Request
  • Validations
  • Aspect Oriented Programming
  • DOM Query and Manipulation
  • Other Utility Functions
